As a graduate, you鈥檒l be equipped to use your knowledge of modern machinery and equipment to take on the future of technical mechanics. Potential roles include:

  • technical sales engineer

  • building service technician
  • CAD operator

  • manufacturing planner or supervisor
  • mechanical drafter or designer

Additional career paths include roles in maintenance, machine and mechanical design, air-conditioning and elevator systems, resource extraction, waste processing, computer aided design and manufacturing or specialist.

Professional accreditation

As a graduate of the Bachelor of Engineering Technology, you will eligible to apply for membership with as an Engineering Technologist. After gaining experience from working in the field, you can apply for chartered status as an Engineering Technologist.
